ROVER Visits
I meet with clients in their own homes, so that my canine clients are more content, and those
who are less mobile don’t have to endure the stress of transport.
After a massage treatment the dogs often have a relaxing sleep….sometimes they are
already asleep during the session!
A typical consultation takes 1-1.5hrs.
This includes a full assessment, massage and aftercare advice.
Before starting the hands-on treatment I will ask a few questions about your dog’s medical history,
diet, lifestyle etc.
This gives your dog time to feel more comfortable with a new visitor and informs me about his health.
I will watch his movement to assess gait and gently test the range of movement in his joints.
Massage consists of tender touch, working the skin, fatty layer, fascia and superficial muscles.
The treatment may include gentle stretches.
At the end of the massage treatment I will inform you of any
physical findings, and may offer suggestions about exercise,
diet,
bedding etc depending on your dog’s condition.
I keep a comprehensive record of each visit. |
